Your psychotherapy session is your invitation to go within, come home, discover your purpose and build courage to live your authentic self in the world.
As you go within you will gather insight, acquire a sense of calm and become open to change. Going within is a spiritual journey, a hero’s journey. Going within is a way to learn to trust yourself, to be clear and decisive about what you want in your life. It’s a way to turn towards the life you’ve always wanted and to find energy to make the changes you’ve longed to make.
I offer tools that engage your whole being; mind, body and spirit. I offer a presence of unconditional positive regard, deep listening and empathy. I use cognitive approaches to challenge the ways you think, feel and behave. I also draw from Jungian psychology, exploring the unconscious and sparking your imagination to ignite insight. I gently guide you, holding an awareness that you are the leader of your growth. You will grow both outwards in making changes as well as inwards through greater self-acceptance and self-love.
I invite you to go within. From Taoism, we learn everything is related to its opposite. Thus we go within in order to come out. Coming to therapy and embarking on your inward journey is a way to live your greatest truths more fully out into the world.
